Two Storey House Extension

A second page showing more pictures and words about this project. We're starting work on the interior soon as there's some major redevelopment needed inside:

walls-and-brickwork

Things are starting to take shape and we're really proud of how well we've matched the existing brickwork. We've swapped some black bricks from the original building as part of this process, and we're confident that the new work will look very much part of the existing building.

Another set of pictures showing the build really starting to take shape. It's a big job and the real challenge is making the new construction match the existing building.

A few years of weathering will certainly help that look, but we're confident that as soon as the job is finished our work will feel very much part of the original house. Second Storey Extension

Progress after Christmas has got us to the second storey, allowing the overall look of the project to take shape. The wide view shown in the gallery below gives a really good impression of how much bigger the property is going to be, though we're very confident that our work will look like part of the original building. Roof Joists

Some superb joinery on show here, with handmade joists being favoured over pre-built ones. With an existing roof of this age we were bothered that we wouldn't be able to achieve perfect alignment in any other way.
